Currently, ISC2 has an initiative offering an introductory-level “Certified in Cybersecurity” (CC) training and certification for free!
ISC2 is a nonprofit organization that has offered the renowned CISSP certification since 1994. This may well be an excellent opportunity to see how your interests line up with the many facets of cybersecurity – and to help guide a decision to pursue their other professional certifications (e.g. SSCP/CISSP/CCSP) in the future.
To get started, you will need to visit https://www.isc2.org/landing/1mcc, create an account or log in, then fill out the application form. Once that is complete, you will gain access to the self-paced training and a code to take the certification exam for free.
